8 Checking the included items The R-44 comes with the following items. Please check th at all of these items are present after opening the package. The audio e n tering MIC-L is recorded on the 1L channel , and the audio from MIC-R is recorded on the 1R cha nnel. If yo u are recording with th e internal mics, se t the System Setting s menu item Recording Setup to Int-Mic .
10 Introducing the R-44 Phantom power switches [PHANT OM POWER] These switches turn the phantom power on/off for the XLR connectors of the combo input jacks located on the right panel. You can turn phantom power on/off separately fo r channels 1/2/3/ 4 because they have separate switche s.
11 Introducing the R-44 Power switch [POWER] This switch turn s the power on/off. To turn the power on or o ff, press and hold the Power switch for about two seconds. The Power switch is lit blue when the power is on. * Do not turn off power to the R-44 in the following situations.
12 Introducing the R-44 PREV button [PREV] Pressing the PRE V button while a pr oject is playing or stopped returns th e project to the beginn ing (00:00:00:00 ). Pressing this button at the begi nn ing of a project moves to the previous project. You can also press and hold down this button to re wind.

On the SD me mory card, each project actually co nsists of a folder with one or more files, as shown below. If you connect the R-44 to your computer, you can see how these fo lders and fil es are organized.

The final voltage refers to the voltage when voltage ca n no longer be s upplied becaus e the capacity of the external power source is reduced and voltage decreases as electri city is consumed.
