10 v a C u u m / s h r e d d I n g a p p l I C a T I o n Remove Blower Pipes 1. Release locking ring (C) with a coin or screwdriver , and rotate ring so that lock symbol (A) is at top of ring. 2. Remove pipes from locking ring. Install V acuum T ube 1.

Release locking ring (C) with a coin or screwdriver , and rotate so that lock symbol (A) is at top of ring. 3. Align locking ribs (L) on elbow with recesses (D) in locking ring, and slide elbow into locking ring.
12 NOTICE: Use of unmixed, improperly mixed, or fuel older than 90 days, (stale fuel), may cause hard starting, poor performance, or severe engine damage and void the product warranty . Read and follow instructions in the Storage section of this manual.
13 S h r e d 'N'V a c ® O p e r a t O r ' S M a N u a l Mixing Instructions 1. Fill an approved fuel container with half of the required amount of gasoline. 2. Add the proper amount of 2-stroke oil to gasoline. 3. Close container and shake to mix oil with gasoline.
14 s T a r T I n g C o l d e n g I n e 1. Stop Switch Move stop switch button (A) away from the STOP position. 2. Thr ottle Position Lever Move throttle position lever (B) midway between idle and full throttle positions. 3. Choke Move choke (C) to Cold Start ( ) Position.

16 Read the Safety Section carefully . IMPOR T ANT T o avoid engine damage due to over -revving, do not block blower pipe. 1. Use only during appropriate hours.
17 S h r e d 'N'V a c ® O p e r a t O r ' S M a N u a l 1. Adjust debris bag strap to support bag on operator ’ s shoulder . Bag must not be folded at intake area, or intake will clog. Further adjustment may be necessary as the debris bag lls and becomes heavier .
18 Y our ECHO blower is designed to provide many hours of trouble free service. Regular scheduled maintenance will help your blower achieve that goal. If you are unsure or are not equipped with the necessary tools, you may want to take your unit to an ECHO Service Dealer for maintenance.

24 C a r b u r e T o r a d j u s T m e n T Engine Break-In New engines must be operated a minimum duration of two tanks of fuel break-in before carburetor adjustments can be made. During the break- in period your engine performance will increase and exhaust emissions will stabilize.
