7 103343 AIR FOR COMBUSTION AND VENTILA TION Continued W ARNING If the area in which the heater may be operated is smaller than that defined as an unconfined space, provide adequate combus- tion and ventilation air by one of the methods described in the National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.
8 103343 INST ALLING NOTICE A qualified service person must install heater. Follow all local codes. W ARNING Before installing in a solid fuel burning fireplace, the chimney flue and firebox must be cleaned of soot, creosote, ashes and loose paint by a qualified chimney cleaner.

17 103343 3. Pressurize supply piping system by either using compressed air or opening main gas valve located on or near gas meter. 4. Check all joints of gas supply piping system. Apply mixture of liquid soap and water to gas joints. Bubbles forming show a leak.

23 103343 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE W ARNING Turn off heater and let cool before cleaning. CAUTION You must keep control areas, burner, and circulating air passage- ways of heater clean. Inspect these areas of heater before each use. Have heater inspected yearly by a qualified service person.
