Using Y our Projector 35 INPUT SELECT The Input Select menu allows you to se lect your projector’s input source. A UTO S OURCE — Select Off (the default) to lock the current input signal. If you press the Source button when the Aut o Source mode is set to Off , you can manually select the input signal.

40 Using Y our Projector DISPLA Y (in Vide o Mode) Using the Dis play menu, you can adjust the display settings of your projector . The Pictur e menu provides the following opt ions: A SPECT R ATIO — Allows you to select the aspect ratio to adjust how the image appears.
Using Y our Projector 41 LAMP Using the Lamp menu, you can adjust the display settings of your projector . The Lamp menu provides the following options: L AMP H OUR — Displays the operating hours since the last lamp timer r eset. L AMP H OUR R ESET — Select Ye s to reset the lamp timer .
42 Using Y our Projector L ANGUAGE — Allows you to set the language for the O SD. P ress to activate the Language menu. P ROJECTOR M ODE — Allows you to select the proje ctor mode, depending upon how the projector is mounted. • F ront P rojection-Desktop — This is the default option.

G ATEWAY — Check the Gateway addr ess with your network/system administrator if you configure it manually . DNS— Check the DNS Server IP address with your network/system administrator if you configure it manually .
Using Y our Projector 45 OTHERS The Others menu allows you to change settings for Menu, Screen, A udio , P ower , Security , and Closed Caption (for NTSC only). Y ou can also perform T est P attern and F actory Reset. M ENU S ETTINGS — Select and press to activate menu settings.

T he power settings menu consists of the following options: P OWER S AVING — Select Off to disable P ower Saving mode. By default, the projector is set to enter power saving mode after 120 minute s of no activity .
48 Using Y our Projector P ASSWORD — When P assword P rotect is enabled, a P asswor d P rotect screen reque sting you to enter a password will be displayed when the power plug is inserted into the electrical outlet and the power for the projector is first turned on.
Using Y our Projector 49 2 If you have entered an incorrect passwor d, you will be given another 2 chances. After the three invalid attempts, the projector will automatically turn off. NOTE: If you forget your password, contact DELL™ or a qualified service personnel.
50 Using Y our Projector C HANGE P ASSWORD — Key in the original passwor d, then enter the new password and confirm the new passwor d again. C LOSED C APTION — Select On to enable close caption and activate the closed caption menu. Select an appropriate cl osed captions option: CC1, CC2, CC3, and CC4.
