Please follow these Initial Set-up proce dures to insure th e proper and safe operation of your grill. Note: Do not plug your grill into an electrical outlet until this pro cedure is complete.
Page 15 G ETTING S TARTED With today’s lifestyle of striving to eat healthy and nutriti ous foods, one fac tor to consider is the importance of reducing fat intake. One of the best ways to cut down on fat in your diet is to use a low fat method of cooking, such as grilling.

Manual S tart Up If for any reason your e lectric igniter fails, you can sta rt your “Country Smoker” manually.
Page 19 S HUTTING O FF YOUR S MOKER Your Country Smoker will give you man y years of flavorful service with minimum cleaning. An important step is allowing the grill and cooking grids to “ Self Clean” by running the gr ill on high temperature for 5 – 10 minutes after each use.
Page 20 G RILL M AINTENANCE CONT ... C OOKING G RIDS When new, wash thoroughly with warm soapy w a ter, place back in the smoker and “Preheat” t he grill for 20 to 30 minutes. After the completion of grilling, open th e lid and with a long handle grill cleaning brush, gi ve the grids a thorough cleaning.
