10 Pr eparation Inserting Batteries into the Remote Con trol Unit T o load the batteries, turn the remote control handset over and open the battery compartment. Insert the batteries ( Tw o 1.5v , type R03 or AA). Make sure that the polarity matches with the (+) and (-) marks inside of the battery compar tment.
11 Pr eparation Aer ial C onnection with V CR Connect your ① aerial cable to the RF(aerial) IN terminal on the VCR. Connect the RF OUT terminal of the VCR to the Aerial terminal on the T V set with ② RF cable.
12 Pr eparation Co nnecting PC( 1 5Pin D - SUB) 1. Prepare the PC cable (D-sub 15pin) and the PC audio cable(Sold separately). 2. Connect the PC(Output) to the LCD(Input) as sho wn below . 3. T urn on the LCD and PC. 4. INPUT SELECT : S elect [PC] by pressing the “MUL TIMEDIA ” button of the Remote Control or L CD unit.
13 Pr eparation C onnecting D VI 1. Prepare the DVI cable and the PC audio cable(Sold separately). 2. Connect the PC(Output) to the LCD(Input) as sho wn below . 3. T urn on the LCD and PC. 4. INPUT SELECT : S elect [DVI] by pressing the “MUL TIMEDIA ” button of the Remote Control or L CD unit.
14 Pr eparation Connecting C omponent or VIDEO or S-VIDEO from a D VD 1. Prepare the A V cable. 2. Connect the DVD(Output) to the LCD(C omponent or Video Input) as shown below . 3. When connecting to an external A V source, be sure to match the colors.

18 Installation Lang uage Menu 1. When you turn on the TV set for the fi rst time, the Language menu appears as the on-screen display . If not, (1) Press the MENU butt on to call up the menu. (2) Move the selection bar to the Fea ture menu with ▼ PR ▲ buttons.

30 Menu Opera tion Sound Mode 1. Press the MENU button to call up the menu. 2. Move the selection bar to the Sound menu with ▼ PR ▲ buttons 3. Press the VOL ► button. 4. Selec t the Mode menu with ▼ PR ▲ buttons. 5. Using the ◄ VOL ► buttons, Select the desired sound mode.

33 Menu Opera tion Time Setting 1. Select the Time Setting from the Featur e menu. 2. Press the VOL ► button and the Time Setting mode appears. Setup the Clock, W ake up Time and Off Time . 1. Star t to set up by pressing the VOL ► button. 2. AM/PM, Hour and minute is set up if pressing PR and ◄ VOL ► buttons in the - - - -:- - status.
34 Te l e t e x t SWIT CHING TELETEXT ON/OFF Press the TELETEXT butt on ( ). The index page or the page viewed last will appear . Press the TELETEXT butt on again to return to the T V mode.
35 CALLING UP SUBP AGE DIRECTL Y Pressing the SUBP AGE button ( ) , “ - - - - ” appears. Enter the subpage number that you want to call up with the NUMBER butt on, for example , the 2nd page, sequence 0002. The desired subpage will eventually be displa yed on the screen and holds it there.
