To remove them proceed as fol- lows: Move the shelf retainer s in the dir ec- tion of the arrow , raise the shelf from the rear and push it forward until it is freed and remove the retainer s.

9 T emperatur e display The temperatur e display can indicate several pieces of information. • During normal oper ation, the temperatur e currently pr esent in the fridge (ACTUAL temperatur e) is displayed. • When the temperatur e is being adjusted a flashing display indicates the fridge temperatur e currently set (DESIRED temper ature).
10 Changing the charcoal filter T o maintain the best performance the carbon filter should be changed every year . New carbon filter s can be pur- chased from your local dealer . 1. The filter is placed behind the cover and can be reached by pulling the cover outwards.
11 Starting Up - Setting the T emperatur e 1. Plug the mains plug into the mains socket. 2. Pr ess ON/OFF button. The green mains pilot indicator illuminates. The appliances start. 3. Pr ess either the “C“ or “E“ button. The temperatur e display switches over and the DESIRED temperatur e currently set flashes on the temperatur e display .
12 Interior Accessories Stor age Shelves The glass shelf above the fruit and vegetable compartment should always r emain in position, to ensur e fruit and vegetables stay fresh longer . The r emaining stor age shelves can be adjusted to various heights: Pull the stor age shelf forward until it can be tipped up or down and remo- ved.
13 LONGFRESH 0°C compartment In the LONGFRESH 0°C compartment the temper ature is contr olled automatically . It stays constantly at about 0°C, no adjustment is nec- essary . The constant storage temper ature of about 0°C and the relative humidity of between 45 and 90 % pr ovide optimal conditions for the various kinds of food.
14 Dr awer divider The wire shelves inside the draw- er s permit that air can circulate fr eely and consequently a better conservation of foods. The top dr awer is equipped with a remov- able divider . Depending on the individual need the divider can be placed in differ ent positions.
