Ther e ar e two r ecessed handles at the front of the base and at the back of the appliance at the top for impr o ved gripping. 0 1. Grip the appliance with the r e cessed handles positioned as in the dr aw- ing, and tr anspor t the appliance.
Before Use 818 19 27-00/ 8 9 2. Remove the transport pr otection pieces and pull off the adhesive tape. 3. W ash the inside of the appliance with lukewarm water with a little bicarbonate of soda added (5 ml to 0.5 litre of water). Do not use soap or deter g ent as the smell may linger .

Remove the door fitting on the lower right (1) and r eposition the door bearing cover fr om the lower left to the right of the door (2), place the door fitting supplied in the lower left of the door (3). Car efully remove the door to the fr ont and place on one side.

It must always r emain in this position, so that fruits and veg- etables re main fresh longer . The r emaining storage shelves can be adjusted to various heights: 0 1.

22 818 19 27-00/8 Pr oper Stor age For physical reasons, the r efrigerator compartment has differ ent temperatur e zones. The coldest zone is on the lowest stor age shelf immediately above the fruit and vegetable trays. Warmer zones ar e the upper storage shelves and door r acks.
818 19 27-00/ 8 23 Hints and Tips Normal Oper ating Sounds • Y ou may hear faint gurgling or bubbling sounds when the r efrigerant is pumped thr ough the coils or tubing at the rear , to the cooling plate/evapor ator .
