5 How to U se the Hob Gas Burners Gas ow to the burners is adjusted by turning the knobs (illustrated in g. 2) which contr ol the valves. T urning the knob so that the indicator line points to t.
6 Choice of Burner The symbols printed on the panel by the side of the knob indicate which burner you are c ontrolling. Choose a suitable burner depending on the cookware dia - meter and capacity . The pan diameter should be suitable for the burner pow er to make the most of the burner ’ s high eciency and not waste fuel.

8 Cleaning and Maintenanc e General Tips – Before cleaning the hob switch it o and wait f or it to cool down. – Clean with a cloth, hot water and soap or liquid detergen t. – Do not use products which are abrasive, c orrosive or chlorine based.
9 Burners and Grids – These parts can be removed and cleaned with appropriate pr oducts. – After cleaning, the burners and their ame spreaders must be w ell dried and correctly replaced. – It is very impor tant to check that the burner ame spreader and the cap have been correctly positio - ned.

13 Installation T echnical Information For The Installer In order to install the cooktop into the kitchen xture, a hole with the dimensions sho wn in g. 16 has to be made, bearing in mind the follo wing: – Within the unit, between the bottom of the c ooktop and the upper surface of a shelf there must be a clearance of at least 30mm.
14 Installing the Separator Below the Base of the Cooktop It is recommended that a 30mm clearance be left between to base of the cooktop and the separat or . The separator shall be heat r esistant, made of low thermal conductivity material and shall be remova - ble with the use of a tool for installation and ser - vice.
15 F astening the C ooktop Each cooktop is provided with an installa tion kit including brackets and screws for fastening the co - oktop to benches from 30 to 40mm thick.
16 Gas Supply Requirements Important Note This appliance is supplied for use on NA TURAL GAS or LPG (check the gas regulation label attached on the appliance). – Appliances supplied for use on NA TURAL GAS: they are adjusted for this gas only and cannot be used on any other gas (LPG) without modication.
17 Gas Connection The installation of the gas appliance to Natur al Gas or LP Gas must be carried out by a suitably quali- ed and registered installer .
