6 How t o Use the Hob Gas Burners Gas flow to the burners is adjust ed by turning the knobs (illustrated in fig. 2) whic h control the valv es. T urning the knob so that the indicator line points t o .
7 Lighting Gas Burners In order t o light the burner , you must: 1 – Press in the corr esponding knob and turn counter -clockwise (fig. 3) to the full flame position marked by the symbol and hold the knob in until the flame has been lit. In the case of a mains failure light the burner with a mat ch or lighted taper .
8 Choice o f Burner The symbols printed on the panel by the side of the knob indicate whic h burner you ar e controlling. Choose a suitable burner depending on the cookwar e diameter and capacity . The pan diameter should be suitable f or the burner power to make the most of the burner's high efficiency and not waste fuel.
9 WRONG CORRE CT WRONG C ORRECT Corr ect use of T riple-Ring Burner The flat-bottomed pans ar e to be placed dir ectly onto the pan-support. T o use the W OK you need to place the pr oper stand in or der to avoid any faulty oper ation of the triple-ring burner (Figs.
10 Cleaning and Maintenanc e Gener al Tips – Befor e cleaning the hob switc h it off and wait for it to cool down. – Clean with a cloth, hot water and soap or liquid deter gent. – Do not use products whic h are abr asive, corr osive or chlorine based.

12 Corr ect P osition of T riple Ring Burner The triple ring burner must be corr ectly positioned (see fig. 9); the burner ribs must be fitted in their housing as shown by the arrow . The burner corr ectly positioned must not rotat e (fig. 1 0). Then position the cap "A" and the ring "B" (figs.
13 TIPS FOR INS T ALLA TION Location – The appliance may be installed in a kit chen, Kitc hen/diner or a bed sitting room, but not in a r oom or space containing a bath or a show er . – The appliance must not be installed in a bed-sit r oom of less than 20m 3 .
14 Installation T echnical Inf ormation for the Installer In order t o install the hob into the kitc hen fixture, a hole with the dimensions shown in fig. 1 2 has to be made, bearing in mind the following: – Within the unit, betw een the bottom of the hob and the upper surface of a shelf ther e must be a clearance of at least 30mm.
15 Applying the Seals – T urn the cookt op upside down. – Spread the longer seal “ A ” ar ound the left, r ear and right sides as shown in figure 1 5a. – With a cutt er or a scissors cut the exc ess seal “ C ” and retain it f or next use (figure 1 5b).
16 Fast ening the Installation Br ack ets Each cookt op is provided with an installation kit including br ackets and scr ews for fast ening the top to fixture panels from 2 t o 4 cm thick.
17 Gas Supply Requir ements Important No te This appliance is supplied for use on NA TURAL GAS or LPG (check the gas r egulation label attached on the appliance). – Appliances supplied for use on NA TURAL GAS: they ar e adjusted for this gas only and cannot be used on any other gas (LPG) without modification.
18 Gas Connection The installation of the gas appliance to Natur al Gas or LP Gas must be carried out by a suitably qualified and regist ered inst aller .
19 Gas connection Cat: II 2H3+ The fitting (fig. 1 7) is made up of: – 1 nut “ A ” – 1 elbow fitting “C” – gasket “F” Connection t o the Gas Supply – Be careful when flexible pipes ar e used that they do not come into c ontact with moving parts.
20 Con v ersion t o Natur al Gas or LPG Replacing the Burner Inject ors If the NA TURAL GAS/LPG conver sion kit is not supplied with the appliance this kit can be purc hased by contacting the After -Sales Service. Choose the injectors t o be replaced ac cording to the t able below .
21 Regulating the Burner Minimum Set ting When changing fr om one type of gas to another , the minimum tap output must also be correct, considering that in this position the flame must be about 4 mm long and must remain lit ev en when the knob is turned sharply from the maximum to the minimum position.
