7 To Switc h Heating Zones On When the ma ins power supply i s switch ed on , the bu zzer beeps once and all the in dicat ors li ght up for 1 second , then go out. This indicat es that the cerami c hob h as entered standby mode. Touch th e ON/OFF cont rol ; all t he ind icator s show “-“.
8 To Switc h Heating Zones Of f Turn an individual cooking zone off by using the “+” or “-“ contr ol s to scro l l down to “ 0“. Alternat ively, the zone may be switched off by touching the “+” and “-“ control s together. To swit ch all heat ing zo nes off at once it is only n ecess ary t o touch the ON/OFF control .

11 Using the Timer You can use the timer in two different ways: • You can use it as a minute minder. In this case, the timer will not turn any cooking zone off when the set time i s up. • You can set it to turn a cooking zone off after the set time .

14 Effici ent U se of Y our H ob Before using your hob for the first time, switch the zones on for a FEW SECONDS to burn of f any grease left over fr om the manufacturing process. The ceramic gl ass retains heat, so to make be st use of the residual heat, switch off the zone five minutes prior to th e end o f cooking .
