Operating Instructions 10 Cooking Surface Featur es Oven Steam Outlet The steam fr om the oven is fed dir ectly to the extraction hood via the duct in the rear of the cooking surface. Single Ring Cooking Zone Switching on and r egulation is performed using the associated switch on the contr ol panel.
Operating Instruct ions 11 Oven Featur es Shelf Positi ons Ther e are side r ails on both sides of the oven, each of these has 6 shelf positions. Please note that the shelf positions ar e counted from top to bottom . Anti-Tip Device All slide-in parts are fi tted with an anti-tip device to pr event them being unintentionally pulled all the way out.

Operating Instruct ions 13 Oven Functions The following functions ar e available for the oven: U F an Cooking F an cooking is particularly suited to baking on sever al levels at the same time. Oven temper atures ar e gener ally 20-40 °C lower than for conventional heat.

This function is also su itable for dishes that require more intensive br owning and a crispy base, e.g. pizzas , quiche Lorraine, cheesecakes, etc. Oven temper atures ar e gener ally 20-40 °C lower than for conventional heat.
Operating Instruct ions 15 Befor e Using for the First Time Initial Cleaning Hob 0 Wipe the glass ceramic surface with a damp cloth and then rub dry to r emove any possible residues fr om manufacture. Oven Befor e using the oven for the fir st time, you should clean it thor oughly .
Operating Instructions 16 Using the Rings 3 When the cooking zones are switched on, they may hum briefly . This is a char acteristic of all glass cerami c cooking zones and does not impair the function or life of the appliance. Heat Settings • O ver the r anges 1-9, you can set 14 heat settings (including interme- diate settings).
Operating Instruct ions 17 Cooking with the Rings 0 1. T o use, press the ring switch. The switch protrudes. 2. As soon as steam starts to form or the oil is hot, turn back to the heat setting nece ssary for fur- ther cooking. 3. T o stop cooking, turn back to the zer o position.

Operating Instructions 20 Usage, T ables and Tips Pa n s The better the pan, the better the results. • Y ou can recognise good pans by their bases. The base should be thick and as flat as possible.
