6 How to avoid damage to the appliance • Do not line the oven with alumin ium foil and do not place baking trays, pots, etc. on the oven floor , as the heat that builds up will dam- age the oven enamel. • Fruit juices dripping from the baki ng tr ay will leave stains, which you will not be able to remove.

9 Befor e using for the first time Setting and changing the curr ent time 3 The oven only operates wh en the time has been set. When the appliance has been con- nected to the electrical supply or when there has been a power cut, the function indicator Time flashes automatically .
10 Initial Cleaning Before using the oven fo r the fir st time you should clean it thor oughly . 1 Cautio n: Do not use any caustic, abr asive cleaners! The surface could be damaged. 3 To clean any metal fr ont panels use commercially available cleaning agents.
11 Oper ating the Oven Switching the Oven On and Off 1. Turn the oven functions contr o l knob to the desir ed function. 2. Turn the temper atur e contr ol knob to the desired temper atur e. The power indicator is lit while the oven is on. The temperatur e power indicator is lit while the oven is heating up.
12 Oven Functions The oven has the following functions: Attaching/Removing the Grill P an Handle The handle is particularly useful for removing the grill pan and tr ay more easily fr om the hot oven.
13 Removing the handle Press the r elease button on the top of the handle (1) and lift up the handle (2) to remove it. 1 Important: Never leave the handle in the heated oven! Overheating can cause the handle to deform or break, and may cause an injury .
14 3 How to use the clock functions • When a function has been selected , the corresponding function indi- cator flashes for approx. 5 seconds. During this time the desir ed times can be set using the or button. • When the desired time has been set, the function indi cator flashes for approx.
15 Countdown 1. Press Selection button repeated- ly , until the function indicat or Countdown flashes. 2. Using the or button, set the requir ed Countdown (max. 2 hours 30 minutes). After approx. 5 seconds, the display shows the r emaining time. The function indicator Countdown will light up.
16 Cook time 1. Press Selection button repeated- ly , until the function indicator Cook time flashes. 2. Using the or button, set the requir ed cooking time. After approx. 5 seconds, the display returns to the curr ent time. The function indicator Cook time will light up.
17 End time 1. Press Selection button repeated- ly , until the function indicat or End time flashes. 2. Using the or button, set the requir ed switch-off time. After approx. 5 seconds, the display returns to the curr ent time. The function indicator End time will light up.
18 Cook time and End time combined 3 Cook time and End time can be used simultaneously , if the oven is to be automatically switched on and off at a later time . 1. Using the function Cook time set the period of time that the dish re- quires to cook. In this example, 1 hour .

28 Defr osting Oven function: F an Contr olled Defrosting (no temperature set- ting) • Unpack the food and place it on a plate on the oven shelf. • Do not cover with a plate or bowl, as these can substantially lengthen the defrosting time. • For defrosting, place the shelf on the 1st oven level from the bot- tom.
29 Grill sizes Oven function: Full Width Dual Grill with maximum temper ature setting 1 Important: Always grill with the oven door closed. 3 The empty oven should always be pre-heated with the grill functions for 5 minutes . • When grilling, use the oven shelf and drip pan together .
30 Cleaning and car e 1 War n i n g : For cleaning, the appliance must be switched off and cooled down. War n i n g : For safety reasons, do not clean the appliance with steam jet or high-pressur e cleaning equipment. Important: Do not use any abrasive cleaners , sharp scr apers or abrasive items .

35 Oven Door Glass The oven door is fitted with two glass panels mounted one behind the other . If the glass is r e moved while the door is attached, the lighter weight may cause it to spring up and cause injury .
