4 UV-SVN03D-EN Jobsite Inspection Always perform the following ch ec ks before accepting a unit: 1 . V erify that the nameplate data matc hes the da ta on the sales or der and bill of lading (including electrical data). 2. V erify that the power supply complies with the unit nameplate specifications.
UV-SVN03D-EN 5 Unit Nameplate The unit nameplate is located in the left hand end pocket, beh ind the con - trol box. It include s the unit model number, serial numb er, electrical char - acteristics, and othe r pertinent unit da - ta. Factory Shipment Before shipment, each unit is leak test - ed, and run tested for proper control operation.
6 UV-SVN03D-EN OA/RA Actuator (Option) The OA/RA actuator provides true spring return opera tion for positive close-off of the OA /RA damper. The spring return system of the actuator closes the outsid e damper if power is lost to the bu ilding. When ordered with factory controls , the actuator is a 3-point floating desi gn.

UV-SVN03D-EN 17 Unit Mounting Note: All wall intake boxes should be installed prior to m ounting the unit ventilator. Refer to Page 14 for wall box installation instructions. The 1/2” mounting or anch oring holes are located on th e back of the unit on each end.
18 UV-SVN03D-EN Piping Installation Before installati on of piping pac k age, the shipping brac k et holding the pi p - ing in place, mu st be removed. Proper installation of pi ping is neces - sary to provide ef ficient coil operation and to prevent damage during opera - tion.
UV-SVN03D-EN 19 Split System Units The following re frigerant piping and interconnecting wiring instructi ons apply to unit ventila tors with direct ex - pansion type coo ling coils used in con - junction with air-cooled co ndensing units.
20 UV-SVN03D-EN Modulating Water Valves (Option) The actuator on the valve is a 24V, 3- point floating valve. The actuator can be easily removed from the valv e body by pressing in on the lo cking tab and rotating the actu ator 45° counter- clockwise (See Figure 6a) .
UV-SVN03D-EN 21 Manually Opening Valve The manual open er can be manipulat - ed only when in the up po sition. The A port can be manually opened by firmly pushing the white manual lever down to the midway p osition and pushing the lever in. In this position, both A and B ports are open.
22 UV-SVN03D-EN Soldering procedures are as follows: 1 Remove actuator as stated earlier. 2 Place valves on the pipe. Rotat e valve stem so the sh aft slot po ints at the notch in the side of the body (90° to flow direction). This pr o - tects the plug insi de the valve by removing it from the seat , Figure 14 .
