4 Important Safety Instructions These warnings ar e provided in the inter ests of your s afety . Ensur e you fully understand them befor e installing or u sing the appliance. 7 Installation Installation Location The appliance should be set up in a well ventilated, dry room. Energy use and efficient performance of the appliance is affected by the ambient temperatur e.
8 Installation Building-in Please check whether , after installing your appliance and especially after rever sing the door , the door seal seals right round. A badly fitting door seal may lead to heavy frosting and ther eby to a higher power consumption (see also „What to do if.
9 Installation ☞ 1. The appliance’s door has been locked in position for transport by means of pins on both sides. According to the door opening dir ection, remove relevant pins at the top and at the bottom. B A 2. Press in the joint cover s between the appliance and the kitchen furniture.
10 Installation 5. Apply blanking covers (B) as indicated. B B 6. Separate parts A, B, C, D as shown in the figure. A B C D 7. Place guide (A) on the inside part of the furniture door , upper and lower posi- tions as shown in the figure and mark the position of external holes.
11 Installation 9. Open the appliance door and the furni- ture door at 90°. Insert the small squar e (B) into guide (A). Put together the appliance door and the furniture door and mark the holes as indicated in the figure. Remove the squares and drill holes with Ø 2 mm at 8 mm from the outer edge of the door .
12 Installation P ower supply A correctly installed, earthed socket is r equired for the electrical sup- ply . The supply must have a fuse rating of at least 1 0 Amps. If the socket is not accessible once the appliance is built in, the electrical installation must include suitable means of isolating the appliance from the mains (e.
13 1.The wire colour ed green and yellow must be connected to the termi- nal marked with the letter “E” or by the earth symbol or coloured green and yellow . 2.The wire colour ed blue must be connected to the terminal “N” or coloured black. 3.

15 Interior Accessories Stor age shelves Various glass stor age shelves are included with your appliance. The height of the storage shelves can be adjusted: ☞ 1. To do this pull the stor age shelf for- ward until it can be swivelled upwards or downwar ds and removed.
16 Corr ect stor age For physical reasons, ther e are differ ent temperatur e regions in the fridge. The coldest region is on the lowest stor age shelf. Warmer r egions are the top stor- age shelf, the vegetable drawer and the storage compartments on the door .
Cleaning and Car e For hygienic reasons the appliance interior , including interior acces- sories, should be cleaned regularly . Warning! • The appliance must not be connected to the mains during cleaning.
18 Symptom P ossible Cau se Remedy Appliance does not work. Appliance is not switched on. Mains plug is not plugged in or is loose. Fuse has blown or is defec- tive Socket is defective. Mains malfunctions are to be corrected by an electrician. Switch on the appliance.
19 What to do if ... The compressor does not start immediately after changing the temperatur e setting. This is normal, no error has occurred. Water in the bottom of the cabinet. Water dr ain hole is blocked. See the “Cleaning and Care” section. The compressor starts after a period of time.
20 Changing the light bulb Warning! Ther e is a risk of electric shocks! Before changing the light bulb , switch off the appliance and unplug it, or disconnect from the power supply . Light bulb data: 220-240 V, max. 15 W ☞ 1. To switch off the appliance, turn the thermostat knob to position "0".
